1995 Maserati Biturbo Zagato Spyder III

Highlights

  • Desirable third series Spyder with Gandhini-facelifted styling, 2.8-litre 'Export' engine and Ranger limited-slip differential
  • Owned for over twelve years and dry stored off the road from October to April each year
  • Major service completed last year, including timing belt, water pump and clutch hydraulics replacement
  • Recent MOT passed with no advisories
  • Limited use, primarily during summer months for European trips

The Appeal

Before the Biturbo Spyder, it had been three decades since Maserati had worked with Carrozzeria Zagato. Never one to shy away from bold designs, Zagato radically reworked the Biturbo, shortening the wheelbase by 114 mm to make a rakish two-seater roadster.

The Spyder remains among the most well-regarded and sought after of the the whole Biturbo lineage. Just 3,076 were ever made and we're delighted to offer one of the last UK market right-hand drive examples.

As a post-Gandhini facelift Series III, this Spyder benefits from updated styling, the 2.8-litre 'Export' engine and a limited-slip differential. The vendor has owned it for over twelve years, enjoying the car sparingly and exclusively during the Spring/Summer months in order to preserve its condition. it's highly original throughout and is lightly patinated, making a very good candidate for enjoying out on the open road as Maserati originally intended.

A significant service last year ensures it's ready for the road, while an advisory-free current MOT until July 2025 adds reassurance that this is a very healthy example.
