Description
In this 50th anniversary year for Range Rover, we ware delighted to offer this very rare "Suffix B" for sale. These are amongst the most elusive of the 1970's era vehicles in that they were only produced for approximately 12 months, where the other Suffix derivatives ran for a number of years.
Visually very similar to the Suffix A cars with the painted C pillars and the famous plastic ‘Kit Kat’ seats, original ones too in the case of this car, the Suffix B was the true start to the vehicles journey upmarket. Centre mat carpet, fabric headlining, heated rear screen, rear screen wash were now a part of the standard offering and the main option power steering allowed the vehicle to move to a much wider market. This vehicle is a very early vehicle exported from Solihull to Land Rover South Africa for local assembly.
It was purchased by us, Jaguar Land Rover Classic, as part of the Works Legends programme owing to its exceptional unrestored, largely original condition and with nearly years of patina.
