Description
The subject of an extensive restoration in the 1990’s by renowned ‘Southern Classics’ the car is being carefully enjoyed in its second lease of life. With just the slightest age-related patination now present, it could be mistaken for a 3 year old of its time and looks all the better for it.
Panel gaps and finishes are extremely good, doors clunk shut nicely and the side profile photographs show the car sits as it should front to rear. The interior with some safety upgrades (photographed) is truly excellent- it feels and smells right and has some lovely period extras. The engine compartment is extremely tidy and ripe for detailing to concours. The driving experience is as it should be with its quiet, healthy engine and both gear changes and optional overdrive are smooth. Power steering has been added with the reservoir discreetly sited behind the washer bottle. Finished in British Racing Green with Moss Green Hide, a correctly priced example waiting for its next adventure.
