Description
In 1937, Bayerische Motorenwerke developed the single-cylinder BMW R 35 motorcycle with a four-stroke single-cylinder engine, 340 cm³ of displacement and 14 hp. The R 35 was developed for use by authorities, police and the military.
It was considered extremely robust, resistant and reliable, above average at the time.
Due to the construction of aircraft for the Second World War, the R35 project was suspended and resumed in 1947.
Due to restrictions that fell on BMW at the time, the EMW appeared free of these same restrictions.
New modifications followed for the R-35, which from then on was called the EMW R-35-3. The frame has been lengthened, reinforced from 2 to 3 mm and fitted with damped straight rear wheel suspension. The engine is also ventilated in the air filter.
The model presented by us has 342cc and 15hp of power. Restored about two years ago.
The price in euros is 19. 750€
