66 year old panel van It is eligible to run in london etc in any immission zone free of charge , If you watch the mike brewer episode they put a 2 ltr pinto engine and auto gearbox in a bedford CA and it went really well . This van is 100% rot free . It has had virtually every panel renewed from new old stock and not sprayed over so you can see it has not been bodged . When finished it will be probably the best Split screen in the country .
The 2 rear doors and the drivers door are new old stock the door on the photo passenger side is the old door only the window will be used as i have a good secondhand replacement door, So both old doors are here as the door handles and windows are still in them
Both full side panels are new so are the recently purchased rear round internal arches . The rear floor cross members are also new and are all fitted . A new rear2 piece valence has recently been purchased were the hinging rear spare wheel area is located, the spare wheel carrier is here that fits in that area, i have recently purchased the front inner panel that holds the radiator , new rollers for the sliding doors have been bought . The floors and front door slam panels are new , All steelwork is new at a considerable price , The engine and gearbox are complete with clutch etc as they have not been split including the radiator cross member for the gearbox and engine mounts are allready bolted up to the motor, All glass is here Also the V5 is in my name for the last 7, years there are bumpers so i dont think i am short of anything to complete it, . i keep doing little bits to the van as time goes on and its stood in my dry workshop , It needs a wiring loom and 2 seats but these are available from John Grainger CA spares on facebook
