Description
BMWs first post war car was the model 501, a representative, luxurious limousine. But its six-cylinder engine with two liter capacity from the pre war model 326 could not keep up. In order to match performance, the model 502 came with a V-8 engine. It was available with 2. 6 liter capacity and 100 PS or 3. 2 liter capacity and 120/ 140 PS. Sales remained modest, however, since the conservative design somewhat hid its modern, high end technology.
Our BMW 502 Limousine was delivered in Germany and its last two owners had the oldtimer since 1993. At that time, the collectors’ car was equipped with the high performing exchange engine of the BMW 3200 S (140 PS). The classic is registered and is ready to go, even on bigger trips. Reliable driving even in today’s traffic is a given!
