Description
The Chevrolet Fleetmaster was born in 1941 and was considered a very good-looking automobile. Following 4 years of no production during WWII, the Chevy Fleetmaster models of 1945-1947 were basically pre-war designed vehicles. Only 4, 912 models were produced in 1947 thus making this a rare car.
The all-steel body is laser straight and in fully restored new condition. The frame off restoration was done by a top notch custom shop. The burgundy red paint color is beautiful.
The interior is gray roll and pleat and in excellent condition. All components present very well.
Engine is the straight 6, 216 CID paired with a manual transmission. It has the 12-volt system and an alternator.
Many components are new such as the windshield wiper motor and more.
Car runs and drives with great performance. It is driven around 8 miles a week and has around 6, 000- 7, 000 miles on the motor.
This is a great cruiser for shows and cruise ins. It is also a great candidate for a street rod.
Car comes with documentation of the restoration. It is in Louisiana and available by viewing by appointment.
