Description
The decades-long tradition of Daimler-Benz has always included state cars: In the twenties the Model K, in the thirties the imposing 770, then they became modest. After the war, the Mercedes 300 “Adenauer” was the benchmark. But from 1956 onwards they were already working on a “Big Mercedes”, the Type 600. There were no design restrictions. A dream for engineers! The International Motor Show 1963 in Frankfurt was the platform for the debut of the Mercedes 600, which clearly stood out from its main competitor, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III. Perfect luxury details, e. g. the comfort hydraulics, rock-solid workmanship and the easy handling when driving were unique. Until the middle of 1991, the “Big Mercedes” was built by hand: 2, 190 limousines, 428 long-wheelbase Pullman limousines and 59 Landaulets.
Our Mercedes-Benz 600 Limousine impresses with its elegance and charisma. The classic car – without a screen in the interior – is ideal for the stately self-driver. Of course we deliver with new service.
