With us at RFH Classics is this very elegant 1983 (Y) Rolls Royce Silver Spirit 6. 7 Auto finished in Metallic Coral Red with Beige Leather trim. This beautiful example, like all Spirit's, is very well appointed with seats that are trimmed in the highest quality leather and this shows as they are in excellent condition with all the electric adjustments working. Sit in the driver's seat and you are faced with a wood veneer dash that like the other wood veneers in the car, are in very good condition. There is something about a Rolls Royce that only they can produce and sitting in the car you feel that.
The car was supplied by us last year but prior to this the previous owner had the car for over 33 years in which time it formed part of his private collection of cars he owned but did not use hence the mileage today is exceptionally low. In the history file there are 14 stamps in the service book that is contained in the original handbook pack for the car. Records indicate the car was supplied new by Marshalls in Cambridge on the 1st July 1983 to an investment company in London and in the history file we have extensive mot certificates dating back to 1988 indicating it did less than 200 miles in that last 18 years.
The bodywork of the car is in excellent condition and without the usual areas of concern found on this age of car which we feel demonstrates how well the car had previously been looked after. Under the bonnet sits the very well proven V8 engine which delivers the power via a 3 Speed Automatic gearbox. At the turn of the key the engine fires into life and runs exceptionally very well, we have driven this car for a number of miles now and can confirm the suspension is all working as it should and like all well looked after Rolls Royce's, is a joy to drive.
