Description
Perfection at the highest level. That is what can rightly be said of this unique Morgan F Super 3-Wheeler from 1949. This completely restored Morgan is truly in perfect and sublime condition. Only 265 copies were produced, so it is now a very rare and unique car, especially in this ultimate new condition. The car comes from a private collection and has been completely restored in recent years and optimized in various respects. What is extra special is that a large part of the history is fully present. Several editorial pieces about this car have been published in various magazines. There are various folders full of history, invoices and reports available. There is also a beautiful photo album of the restoration of this beautiful Morgan F Super.
The photos clearly show the exceptionally high level of the restoration of this special Morgan 3-Wheeler. Everything has been carried out with great care and all documentation is present. Not only an owner's overview, but also a large part of the maintenance history. The Morgan came to the Netherlands in 1978, then still in its original color green. A few years later the car was restored and the color was changed to red. There are also photos of this restoration available. After the car has had several owners, the last owner bought the car in 2015 and decided to bring the car into completely new condition. The result is a 'nut-and-bolt' restored car where no expense has been spared to achieve the level of perfection.
Everything is completely new about this unique Morgan F Super. This beautiful red/ black color looks great with the black leather upholstery (with red piping), the beautiful wooden dashboard and the lacquered spoke rims. All the chrome work is completely new and the car has been worked on with great attention to detail. The protective cover around the exhaust and the custom-made and chromed luggage rack are wonderful examples of this.
Technically the car is completely perfect. Various improvements have been made, including fully hydraulic brakes and a flexible cardan shaft instead of a rigid cardan shaft. The latter is especially important for the preservation of the completely overhauled gearbox. The engine block has been completely overhauled and perfectly adjusted in England. This has made it a wonderfully smooth driving car that responds particularly nicely and directly to steering movements. For practical use, a storage space has been created behind the backrests.
It is actually very difficult to describe this car properly, because there are not enough words for so much perfection. You really have to see this car to understand what happened here. The nice thing is that the car comes with a beautiful photo album of the restoration and that a lot has been written about this car. If you are looking for a special and valuable classic Morgan, then this is the right car!
