Description
A car journalist recently wrote about such a Mercedes-Benz station wagon: this car offers “Stowing in style”. And that's it. It is not an SUV or Crossover with its own design, but it is a station wagon from the eighties, the years in which extra space and a fifth door were added to a popular sedan. The bodywork variant therefore remained very recognizable, while the enormous space offered many possibilities for "stowing" extra luggage. And the spacious model is rightly called stylish. The car from the comfortable W123 series has a generous chrome finish and shiny roof rails that give this classic extra cachet.
A station wagon based on a sedan is becoming increasingly rare in the current crossover era. They are also becoming increasingly difficult to find from times gone by because many examples have now succumbed to a difficult existence. This original Dutch 200 T has clearly been spared the rough work and is in good condition.
