Description
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was introduced in 1977 as the high-performance variant of the V8 version. The Vantage had a 5. 3 liter V8 with more power, a sportier suspension and a sportier design. A few years later, the convertible version of the V8 Vantage was marketed under the name V8 Vantage Volante.
In 1993, a V8 Vantage version came onto the market again, now as an independent model and based on the Virage. This car was also equipped with a 5. 3 liter V8, but it had better performance. A convertible was designed as well and relaunched as the V8 Vantage Volante.
In 2005, a completely new V8 Vantage was introduced, now inspired by the DB9. The car was more compact and got the new 4. 3 liter V8 under the hood. The convertible version became available from March 2007 and was called the V8 Vantage Roadster. The 4. 3 liter V8 launches the rear-wheel drive Vantage Roadster to 100 km/ h in 5. 0 seconds and can reach a top speed of 280 km/ h.
This model stayed on the market until 2018 when it was succeeded by the V8 Vantage Roadster with the 4. 0 liter twin-turbo V8.
In all these years, the V8 Vantage has been synonymous to luxury combined with formidable performance. The car was equipped with all modern developments while retaining the elegance, style and recognizability of the Aston Martin brand.
The V8 Vantage Roadster at Classic Park is an original Dutch example with a correct low mileage of only 54, 324 kilometers. The last maintenance service was carried out in October 2023. The car is equipped with an automatic dark blue hood and a wind deflector. The car has a cognac-colored leather interior and is in very good condition.
