Description
This 1962 Austin Healey 3000 MK2 Roadster is another great addition to the Legendary Classic collection.
In recent years the car has undergone a full restoration and was driven on occasion.
This explains the beautiful optical, the great technical & strong structural condition.
As you know we have a soft spot for these classic British roadsters.
Healey’s have proven to be exciting sportscars that can hold their own during a serious rally. But also can be enjoyed on a relaxed Sunday drive.
They show real performance & exceptional road going qualities.
Surprisingly they are also comfortable to drive.
The best of both worlds so to say.
As already stated above our ’62 is in an overall great condition.
The 3 litre 6 cylinder in-line engine in combination with the triple carburettor system performs beautifully.
The same can be said for the manual transmission with overdrive.
Of course (just as the rest of the car) the undercarriage has no rust issues.
The brake systems were recently renewed during the large overall service and provide all the stopping power you might need.
Our Austin Healey MK2 has beautiful paint, and all chrome trim is in great condition.
The typical by “knock off” secured wired wheels complete the pretty picture.
The black & chrome exterior over red interior is probably one of the most tasteful combinations possible for this roadster.
Speaking of the interior; All the original “smiths” instrumentation is in full working order.
No missing switches or broken dials.
The red leather on all 4 seats, door panels and dash are in great condition.
A brand-new roof sits behind the seats and side windows can be found in the booth.
The car also comes with a tonneau cover for easy & fast closing.
In short; A stylish, sportive roadster. Ready for the coming season!
This Austin Healey has Belgian paperwork which makes it easy to register in any Eu country.
