Description
The Geneva Motor Show in March 1989 was particularly important for Mercedes-Benz, as the new SL model series R 129 was on show. After its predecessor had been in production for over 18 years, the new SL was brimming with ground-breaking technical innovations. The public sensed that another “world bestseller” was being presented. For the engines, there was a wide choice between six, eight and twelve-cylinder units. During the production period from 1989 to 1998, many detailed improvements were incorporated into the series.
Our Mercedes-Benz SL 320 Roadster from 1997 is as good as new with a mileage of only approx. 51, 000 km. The classic is with its second owner and registered in Germany, making it the ideal hobby car.
