Description
The BMW 628 CSI is a luxurious four-seater coupe, one of the rare productions from the Bavarian company designed by Paul Brack.
Its front-mounted, water-cooled 6-cylinder in-line engine with overhead camshafts and a 7-bearing crankshaft develops 185 horsepower. Its injection system allows for reduced consumption compared to a carbureted model. Most Phase II models were equipped with an automatic transmission.
It features independent suspension with a McPherson front axle, a 24 mm stabilizer bar, helical springs at the front and rear, ventilated disc brakes at the front and rear with servo, 4-piston calipers at the front, and ball circuit power steering, making it a true grand tourer, a queen of the road and highway.
The model exclusively offered by Veitura has never undergone restoration but is in an exceptional state of preservation, both inside and out, as it has been perfectly maintained by its three owners. The BMW maintenance booklet is up to date, along with vehicle and radio user manuals.
This particular example comes with all options, including cruise control, BMW alarm with two keys, power steering, air conditioning, full leather up to the steering wheel, a newly rebuilt 4-speed automatic transmission, electric windows, electric antenna, as well as many new parts such as the radiator, battery, alternator, brakes, ball joints, shock absorbers and springs, windshield, tires, a real spare wheel, and a complete tool kit. Additionally, the vehicle has a clean technical inspection.
