Description
From the summer of 1955, Hotchkiss began production of the model named "M-201," of which 27, 614 units were produced, primarily from the Stains factory in Seine-Saint-Denis, initially in 6 volts and later in 24 volts. The engine is a 2, 199 cc Hotchkiss-made GO DEVIL producing 60 horsepower.
The vehicle offered was a French army Radio Jeep, equipped with a dynamo, ignition, and shielded cables to limit electromagnetic interference, running on a 24-volt electrical system. Serial number: 19854.
It underwent its first restoration in 1972 by the French army and a second restoration by its current owner from 2008 to 2012.
Underbody reinforcements, electrical wiring, water pump, fuel pump, cylinder head gasket, flywheel, brake shoes, wheel cylinders and hoses, starter, door kits, upholstery, soft top, US paint and decoration were replaced. WOF parts were used.
The vehicle comes with its accessories: shovel, axe, jerrican, and antenna mast sections.
