Description
Puma was a Brazilian car brand that produced sports cars based on the VW Beetle. The chassis came from the VW Beetle. It was fitted with a GRP body that resembled the Ferrari 275 GTB at the front and the Opel GT at the rear. The Puma was powered by a boxer engine from the VW Beetle. The 1. 6 litre engine produced 60 hp in the Puma.
The Puma GTE offered here was registered in Switzerland for the first time. A revised 4-cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 2. 3 litres and a measured 129 hp on a test bench in Zurich made the car a rocket. An oil cooler was integrated into the tailgate to reduce the oil temperature to the correct level. In addition, air scoops were moulded, which were designed to be discreet and visually extremely appealing. A gearbox with a longer reduction ratio was also installed. The car has MOT and an H licence plate. All original invoices from the engine conversion, gearbox construction, exhaust system etc. are available.
The vehicle is in top rust-free condition.
