Unlike the early factory-built M models, our Le Mans model is one of the rare Healey 100-4s to have undergone a full Le Mans conversion, making it a Le Mans kit Austin Healey with all the features that go with the name. Our matching numbers Healey is officially recognised on the Le Mans Register and has a Heritage Certificate from the British Motor Industry Trust. 640 Le Mans kits were sold to Austin Healey dealers or car owners to upgrade standard Austin Healey 100 sports cars to Le Mans specification. This included fitting the car with a special aluminium head, larger carburettors, a cold air box, a high performance camshaft, bonnet vents and a leather strap over the bonnet, plus our 1955 Austin Healey has an overdrive. The car has an attractive ivory and black colour combination with a red interior and roof. The paint and chrome finish are in excellent condition. The red leather interior shows minimal signs of wear and all switches and buttons are fully functional. The soft top and windows are in excellent condition. The original tool kit, spare wheel and jack are included.
