Description
This car was born in 1974 from the passion of two great Milanese craftsmen Silvano Grassi and Eugenio Grassi and powered by Romeo Ferraris, a tuner famous throughout the world for his engines which have equipped both racing cars and off-shore hulls.
Romeo Ferraris invents for the Gi. Pi chassis. a 1000 cc engine derived from the block of the Fiat 128, equipping it with a 16-valve cylinder head of its own creation and an equally innovative injection, which managed to spin at over 12, 000 rpm, outclassing all the other engines of the time.
At the time it was purchased by the late Valerio Negrini, co-founder of the Pooh musical group.
After being the protagonist of track and uphill races driven by famous drivers, the car remained in the garage for over 18 years.
