Description
This is a unique bespoke Morgan 4/ 4 which was built and first registered in 2003, but since then has been improved in performance and specification, and has still only done 12, 600 miles.
Built on a galvanised chassis with full aluminium body mounted on a treated ash frame, stainless steel front bulkhead, inner wing valances, scuttle bar and rack and pinion steering.
It is finished in Ferrari Rosso Corsa red with magnolia leather interior trim, piped red.
In no particular order, the improvements include:
Simmonds "Easy-up" mohair hood, tonneau cover and sidescreen bag in black mohair. Simmonds hood cover in Magnolia leather piped red. Leather upholstered side screen inner panels and steering column cowl. Leather bonnet strap.
Walnut dashboard, door trims and centre armrest/ cubby box. Mora-lita woodrim steering wheel. Polished stainless steel wire wheels with 2 eared spinners, chassis rail covers, door lock covers, door checks, mirrors, luggage rack, full width bumpers, front number plate box etc.
The suspension has the benefit of Rutherford Engineering upgrades including a Panhard rod and Rutherford AVO adjustable shock absorbers, and the engine has uprated Kent camshafts, Librands 4 branch exhaust and Jenvey throttle bodies/ engine management system.
There has been no expense spared in the preparation and maintenance of this car, and it comes complete with special "MOG" number plate.
It would cost in excess of £50, 000 to replicate, but is offered today at £27950
