Description
The T2 was manufactured between 1977 and 1980 with just 568 units built during this period. This model was a continuation of the Bentley T-series, with updates and refinements compared to its predecessor, the Bentley T1.
Being part of the wider Ranmore Group, thus having our own Service & Engineering division, it's nice to welcome a client's Bentley T2, that along with his Chinese Eye & Continental R' we have maintained for a good number of years.
Colour is very much subjective, but to my mind, this shape & era of Bentley looks very appealing in Moorland Green and the colour contrasts nicely with the original dark green hide interior... nice to see the optional front head rests in situ, so difficult to find nowadays and expense too.
Following our normal trend of a pre-sale inspection, this T2 has just been through the workshop and follows a large service less than 900 miles ago. Amongst other items attended to at this point, the gearbox was removed & overhauled plus much else, there's a healthy £11, 000 invoice on file detailing works which brought everything very much up to date.
It's a wonderful ambience in which to waft along and one can well understand why they are remain so popular against the mundane modern machines of today!
It would be a pleasure to answer any questions you might have. However, to really appreciate this T2, it needs to be seen “in the flesh”, so do please call me directly on the details below to arrange a viewing.
