Description
Jaguar E-Type Series 1 RHDThe Series I Jaguar E-Type was introduced in March 1961, initially for export only. Four months later, in July, it was also introduced on the domestic market. Early models were equipped with a 3. 8-litre six-cylinder Jaguar XK6 engine, previously used in the XK150S, and had triple SU carburettors. In October 1964, the engine was upgraded from 3. 8 to 4. 2 litres. Jaguar was one of the first car manufacturers to fit disc brakes as standard, starting with the XK150 in 1958. The Series I can be recognised by the glass covers over the headlamps until 1967, a small opening at the front, indicators and taillights above the bumpers, and exhaust pipes below the number plate. A 3. 8-liter Jaguar E-Type from 1965 had leather bucket seats, an aluminum finished center panel and a four-speed gearbox from Moss. Offered here is a Series 1 Jaguar E-Type with the popular 3. 8L engine with triple carburetors and in the color combination of Carmen Red with a Beige interior. This is a RHD E-Type that was originally delivered in South Africa. We can also supply the E-Type with a Dutch license plate and a valid MOT in consultation. The engine runs very strongly and the car drives very well, we can send videos of this if interested, the same applies to the official Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate. Furthermore, we can arrange both the transport and the entire export process.
