Description
The luxury Mercedes 300 S was derived from the 300 saloon and was presented for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in 1951. Production of the first series began in July 1952 and ended in August 1955. The price for all available Cabriolet, Coupé and Roadster variants was DM 34, 500, making the 300 S significantly more expensive than a 300 SL with gullwing doors. A total of 203 examples of the Cabriolet A were built, largely by hand.
Our Mercedes-Benz 300 S Cabriolet A was originally delivered to the USA. The classic car has been registered in Germany since 2008. Before that, it underwent a documented overhaul. This luxury cabriolet looks particularly elegant in its simple colour combination. The Type 300 S is the pinnacle of post-war production by Daimler-Benz.
