Classic Car Design offers you this beautiful 1973 C3 5. 7L (L48) Corvette convertible. The styling of this American sports car immediately transports you to the other side of the Atlantic, especially in its original "bright yellow" colour. 1973 is the only year to combine the front bumper with the chrome bumper rear. Of just over 30, 000 Corvettes sold that year, fewer than 5, 000 came as convertibles, and even fewer with manual gearboxes. In Europe since the 90s, this example has benefited from almost €10, 000 worth of work in recent years... On the outside, the paintwork is in very good condition and very shiny: the car was repainted just over a year ago. The soft top is also new and handles perfectly. Once fully retracted under the hard top cover, you can appreciate the body-built lines typical of this generation, enhanced by the truncated rear end reserved for the first generations. Inside, the cabin is in good condition, whether in terms of the dashboard, seats or carpets. It is in its original black colour, and the atmosphere is rather sporty, with a fine, slim steering wheel with metal spokes. Behind the wheel of this beautiful Corvette, you can really feel the torque of the 5. 7-litre engine, which is perfectly supported by the mechanical gearbox. This gives the Corvette a completely different character: more responsive and less 'cruising'!
