Recently restored back to the great condition you see in the pictures.
Both driver and passenger sills have been repaired. All the other usual areas (boot floor, spare wheel well, under rear seats etc.) are in good condition. I invite any inspection to confirm the condition of this vehicle.
The car drives great and the noise is absolutely superb! It has a stainless steel exhaust system which isn't too loud and in my opinion how these should have sounded form the factory.
I've been looking at prices for ages as I'm sure we all have. I've seen the immaculate, fully rebuilt, cars now in the £10k's and I've seen the rotten cars offered at £1, 500 with a free dustpan to sweep it from the driveway. I would like £6, 000 for the car as I believe it's a very nice example however it's not at concours standard yet. The cherished number plate will remain on the car at this price.
This car has the potential to be an absolutely beautiful show car if somebody would like to continue restoring back to concours condition. Likewise, it's a really useable car in it's current condition and I'd love for somebody else to enjoy the car going forwards as it's currently parked in my workshop and I don't use it (mostly because I can't be bothered to clean it again after).
