Rare and original restoration project - 1000 Miglia Elegible - It is complete, on the wheels, with all the other original mechanical components. Originally registered with plate number TO122932 the car was then registered with the actual plate number in 1968. The car still has original Italian license plates and documents from 1968. The car is equipped with its original BMW 750cc engine (the engine number correspond to the original first unit installed in the car, as stated by the original registration documents. This car belonged to Emilio "Lio" Giletti, a driver from Biella, later team mate of Juan Manuel Fangio in Maserati, who achieved with this Nardi 750 Sport excellent race results, including the class victory in the 1951 Susa-Moncenisio, the oldest race of the world. After the 1951 racing season the car returned to Nardi who rented it to various driver.
