Description
Bentley has a motorsport heritage that has always influenced the design of its cars. The huge Blowers of the 1920s were unbeatable on the track and, although the focus is mainly on luxury and comfort, the truth is that the Bentley has always been the alternative to the Rolls Royce for those who prefer to be at the controls rather than sitting in the back.
The Flying Spur is a good example of this philosophy. In terms of luxury and comfort, it lacks nothing, the level of equipment is as expected from this range, however, unlike a Rolls-Royce Ghost, for example, the driver has much more dynamic control at their disposal and performance that is embarrassing lots of real sports cars. The gearbox has a sequential function, with paddles on the steering wheel, and the suspension can be configured for greater or lesser stiffness.
But it is, above all, under the bonnet that this Bentley stands out. With a 6-liter W12 engine and 625 PS, 100 km/ h disappears in an instant (4. 6 s) and the speedometer only runs out at 320 km/ h!
This Flying Spur from February 2016 was imported to Portugal in 2017, and is in extremely good condition, with only 43, 000 km and all services at an official dealer. Configured in Old English White, it now benefits from an integral wrap in Metallic Green, which makes an excellent contrast with the interior fully lined in brown leather.
