What an example of one of all of our favourite classics the Mk2 Escort , and a 1600 Sport too, A South African Import in a rare SA colour only called Clifton Sands, that is showing 29k kms no way of justifying that but just look at the condition , if the clock has turned that would make it 70k miles but even that would look higher than the condition shows , she's a fantastic old girl to see and drives way better than I could ever imagine, the smell just takes you back , she starts on the button and the engine is stupidly quiet and smooth for a near 50 year old car, all gears select as they should with that great snick that old Fords have , everything works as it should too bar the rev counter and clock quite possibly to do with the removal of a more modern stereo , the interior is something else all original the seats are about as good as you can get I imagine , Headlining and carpets are amazing and it still retains its quarter bumpers all good and the wheels just starting to deserve a refurb but very original and have decent rubber
Free from modern interferences just you and the road
She's absolutely lovely but not perfect , but as far as rot this is about as clean as you could get with fantastically sharp arches etc
