Description
We have this beautiful 1976 Ducati 900 Super Sport for sale. A very nice and original example that is well sorted and rides like a dream!
The 1976 was the first ‘regular production’ Super Sport after two years of only building them in very small quantities. The great 860 square-case bevel-drive engine was now fitted to a newly designed frame. Many things got updated like the steel fuel tank and the left-side gear change. Although updated throughout the years, it served as Ducati’s flag ship model until it was replaced by the 900 S2 in 1982.
This particular example is one of the first 1976 models with the specific (rubber) footpegs to incorporate the left side gear change. It is in a very nice and largely original condition and is in a technical perfect state. The problematic original ignition was replaced by a modern digital ignition system. It features the original Borrani wheels with stainless steel spokes, the correct Marzocchi suspension units, Aprilia switch and JOD headlight and Smiths instruments.
The bike recently received a new paint job of all bodywork parts. It was also fully serviced and got new Dunlop tyres. As can be seen in this video, the bike is performing very well.
This is your chance to purchase a beautiful, original and well-sorted 900 Super Sport. Kick start and ride away!
