Description
Originally registered on 21st August 1972, JTU 758L has aged gracefully, with just 81, 455 miles on the odometer after 51 years. It boasts a sturdy chassis, a well-maintained body, and dependable mechanics that has made several trips to Le Mans in recent years.
This 1972 Triumph TR6 CP 150BHP is a UK car is finished in Pimento red exterior with a black convertible top, and a comfortable original black interior, complemented by a wooden dashboard and matching steering wheel and gearstick knob. This classic also features the desirable 150HP engine, overdrive functionality, along with steel wheels. A new stainless steel exhaust system has just been installed as part of a fresh recommissioning and service that we have just carried out. A new black Mohair cover can be purchased along with the car for an additional £700.
Included documents within JTU 758L history file are the V5C, past V5 copies, a TR Registry certificate of registration, historical tax discs, and invoices dating back to the late 1980s, including one from July 2022 for a new fuel pump.
It also comes with MOT certificates, starting from May 1988 when the mileage was 62, 458 miles.
The bodywork is strong, solid, and in good all-round condition, the only criticism of paintwork would be the expected imperfections commensurate with a 50-year-old original car and is priced accordingly.
The car does present nicely and having been well maintained over the years does drive nicely.
A video walk-around of the car can be arranged to present the overall condition and performance.
This is a great opportunity to purchase a 1972 UK-market original Triumph TR6 CP that presents nicely, has been maintained well.
