Description
- Desirable colour combination
- Sizeable history file
Registered new on 3rd April 1970 this Jensen Interceptor Mk. II has had five previous owners and comes to the open market from a private collection. Acquired in 2016 by the current vendor the Jensen has always been dry stored during his tenure. Presented in blue coachwork over a biscuit leather interior the Interceptor generally presents very nicely. The paintwork is in good condition as is the interior showing a light patina. However, there are some age related blemishes as expected with a car from this era, notably some light blemishes to the front bumper, and two small tears in the boot lid door card. The history file that accompanies the Jensen suggests that the car was repainted in 2015 with invoices relating to new rubber fittings and seals, along with new front and rear bumpers, also included are invoices from K C Classics who have looked after the Interceptor in the current vendors ownership, works have included rebuilding the carburettor, an upgrade to electronic ignition, and a routine service. Also present in the file is a Jensen workshop manual, sundry bills, old Mot records, and the current UK registration document.
