Stratton Motor Company are pleased to offer for sale this Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400 Coupe with Sportshift gearbox finished in Bergwerk Black metallic and trimmed with black leather interior with perforated inserts and a contrasting silver stitching.
The N400 Special Edition was introduced in September 2007 to celebrate Aston Martin’s participation in the Nurburging 24hr race and its achievement of lapping in under 8 minutes. Only 240 N400 Coupes were produced along with 240 Roadsters making a total of 480 cars for one very good reason! The total combined production numbers of 480 cars signified the number of seconds as the lap time of the Nürburgring by Aston Martin in the 24hr race!
The N400 badging of this model highlighted the engine upgrade to 400bhp and a number of notable enhancements over its standard V8 Vantage counterpart. It included as standard a Sports handling pack consisting of lightweight graphite and diamond cut aluminium wheels, uprated suspension springs and dampers, stiffer anti-roll bar to enhance handling and reduce body roll, new side sill design, Magnum Silver bonnet and side strake meshes. Further enhancements include the 700W Aston Martin Premium Audio system, Bluetooth connection, HID headlamps, cruise control, heated memory seats with perforated leather, Micro-Spin alloy facia trim and a unique numbered sill plaque denoting the model number, along with additional embossing to the front armrest and badging to denote it being an N400 edition.
This car benefits from the Aston Martin Specialists upgrade at Bamford Rose which included a twin plate clutch replacement, new lightened and balanced flywheel, 3 way exhaust valve switch and ECU upgrade to around 420bhp enhancing both performance and driveability with smoother and swifter gearchanges. This was all completed in 2023 at a mileage of 22600. Over and above that this stunning car has a full Aston Martin service history, initially with the first supplier Aston Martin Mayfair and then followed by us here at Stratton Motor Company.
