Spectacular example and in the condition you would expect from such a low mileage Lotus in the iconic Essex Blue metallic with the beautiful red leather interior and red cloth inserts and special order red leather trimmed steering wheel as ordered in July 1987. The only Essex Blue metallic HC with red interior. Factory tilt/ remove factory glass targa sunroof. Air-conditioning. Supplied by the main Lotus Dealers Norfolk Motor Company in Norwich close to the factory in August 1987. Original stamped Owner's Handbook, latterly by Paul Matty Sports Cars Ltd. in 2021 when all of the belts were replaced during the service at 6, 087 miles and then again in 2023 at 6, 599 by the same technicians. This really is an Esprit connoisseur’s car as the interior has the new leather aroma and is soft and plush to the touch, reminiscent of my my first test drive in one at the Lotus Esprit Turbo launch in late 1980.
