This B Roadster has been in the care of its current custodian since 2008. It appears to have been very well maintained historically, the file contains a log of work carried out from the mid-Nineties to 2000 and numerous invoices from the late 1980s. It appears that in 2004, the wire wheels, knock off hubs and spinners, all overriders, carpet set etc were all renewed and the vehicle underwent a major restoration and respray also in that year. We understand further maintenance has been carried out in the previous and current ownerships, as detailed in the extensive history file.
The paintwork remains in very good order, as does the panel work and fit. There is a small paint defect on the front right hand wing. We understand that the upholstery has probably been renewed, possibly at the time of restoration, and remains in smart order. The dash and door cappings are original and good. The black vinyl hood has a split in the rear screen, and we understand that the rev counter and flasher lamps are not currently working. Mechanically, the B is running well, having been driven to the sale from South Dorset. Lack of use prompts the reluctant sale.
The large history includes photographs, MOT test certificates from 1987, many invoices, a V5 and photocopies, an older V5C and the current V5C registration certificate.
