Description
1966 Norton 750 Cafe Racer Built as a homage to the 60s cafe racer bike scene and the famous racing Norton TT bikes of the 50s and 60s.
Beginning as a standard 1966 Norton 750 Atlas however only the featherbed frame, engine and Norton Roadholder folks where retained. Built over a three-year period while hard to find parts were collected including Chronometric clocks, correct handed carburettors and twin leading shoe brake along with many hand-crafted and bespoke parts made ready to be fitted. Every part was overhauled expertly, restored or replaced as required.
No expense or time was spared in this build, both aesthetically and from an engineering point of view with an awesome soundtrack to complete the project.
Comes with a full photographic record of the build along with a History File containing all invoices. Has seen little use since the build and ready to be finely tuned to the rider's individual needs and requirements or displayed as part of a collection or display.
Winner of many awards and featured on the front cover of The Classic Motorcycle magazine amongst others. A metal wall-art sign has also been produced of this motorcycle and is sold world-wide. A truly one-off Norton Cafe racer.
