With Ducati dominant in the World Superbike Championship, Honda released the SP-1 with the aim of wrestling the crown from them
Successful in its first year, Honda revised the SP-1 with a stiffer frame, revised geometry and more power, the bike becoming known as the SP-2
This bike is one of 15 commissioned by Honda to be finished in Colin Edwards 2002 Laguna Seca livery
Supplied with two sets of bodywork. Due to its rarity, the owner removed the Laguna Seca livery and stored it in bubble wrap to protect it
The bike is currently sporting the white Castrol livery that is more common on the SP-2. Both complete sets are supplied with the bike
The bike is in immaculate running condition and has covered 12, 399 miles
