Hilton & Moss are delighted to have this beautiful 1999 Lotus Elise S1 available for sale at our Hertfordshire showroom. A future classic to be sure.
It was thanks to the Elise, conceived in 1994 and eventually released in September 1996, that Lotus Cars would survive go onto to produce many fantastic sports cars over the next decades.
With a full fibreglass body and aluminium chassis, the car weighed just 725kg, powered by a 1. 8 litre K-Series engine that produced 118bhp. This combination of a high-revving 4-cylinder engine and the lightweight body resulted in a 0-60 time of just 5. 8 seconds.
This particular Elise S1 left the showroom in September 1999 and is incredibly low mileage with just 11, 315 miles on the clock, having only ever been owned by one fastidious keeper.
Finished in B02 Metallic Black with a Dark Grey interior, this car presents in fantastic condition all round. The car is finished off with a black, long tail soft-top and 6-spoke silver wheels.
This Lotus comes with a thorough service history. The team at Hilton and Moss have looked after the vehicle since 2007, carrying out servicing on an annual basis, and maintenance where required ever since. Prior to ourselves, the car was serviced annually by Wilsons Lotus from new, until 2006. The most recent service was completed in August 2024 by ourselves, at 11, 242 miles. The full service history is detailed below, with each service stamped and recorded across three maintenance booklets in total.
