Very rare Helguero Sport for sale. In outstanding condition. This car is build on a steel tubular chassis with a fiberglass body and equipped with a Ford 3. 2L straight six engine with matching 4 speed gearbox. Mechanically the car is very sound. It fires away immediately and runs smooth. Gearbox shifts well. The engine has been fitted with a Holley carburetor to gain a bit of more performance. This 6 cylinder engine produces a sweet sound through its single left hand side-pipe. To keep all safe, the car has been fitted with front disc brakes. The rear axle is fitted with the standard drum brakes. Alloy wheels have been fitted and equipped with Hankook tires in size 215/ 70-15.
The interior is quite basic but comfy. It is equipped with a pair of black leatherette sport seats with red piping and stitches and foreseen of a pair of OMP harnesses. The dashboard has been rapped in the same black leatherette with red finishes. The alloy dashboard part is fitted with some VDO gauges. The nice leather ‘personal’ steering wheels gives it all a sportive look. A card reading light was fitted for the ones who would like to attend some rallies. In the trunk you can find the battery with its battery cut-off switch and a spare wheel. The car has a polyester body. Currently the car is registered in Belgium and also has an FIA regularity passport.
