Produced by the Milanese manufacturer Innocenti, this Mini Cooper uses the British in-line four-cylinder engine of 998 cm3 developing 59 bhp for only 670 kgs. The Italian firm wanted to distinguish itself from its London counterpart by offering a better finish and more equipment. Listed in the Italian ACI (gold plate) register of historic sports vehicles and in the ASI, our rare model in this configuration is truly desirable and deserves to be part of a collection. The exposed door hinges, sliding windows and obus exterior mirrors are just some of the distinctive features of the 1960s.
