Description
At the presentation of the 928, the design polarised opinion: some observers praised the clarity of the lines, others found them "atypically German". A special feature was the retracted C-pillar at the rear and the curved rear side windows. The Porsche designers took up an idea that Richard Teague had first realised on the AMC Pacer in 1975. The design of the 928 was influential. The 928S4 presented here is available with all its documents, was first delivered by AMAG Switzerland in 1989 and has been fully serviced over the past 33 years. The body, the paintwork, the high-quality original rims and the interior have not the slightest defect. This S4 drives like a new car with all its modern functions such as ABS, automatic air conditioning, electric seat adjustment with memory and heating, sound system, electric tailgate with fold-down function and much more. An extremely well-maintained example that still exudes the scent and ambience of the late 1980s. The Porsche 928 is on its way to establishing itself as a classic of the future. Over the past 33 years, the luxurious and powerful sports car has covered an average of almost 3, 500 kilometres per year and passed the veteran's test in January 2022 without any faults. Still affordable today - and in 10 years' time?
