This Land Rover Defender 90 SVX is a very rare, limited-edition off-roader, launched to mark the 60th anniversary of the model.
Under the bonnet is a 2. 4-litre TDCI inline-four, delivering around 120bhp to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
This example has had only two owners from new, and has been with the seller since 2013 and the odometer shows 47, 619 miles.
Finished exclusively in Santorini Black metallic, the SVX features a bespoke fascia for the grille and headlight clusters, an external roll cage, and satin ‘60 Years’ graphics. SVX models also have a revised suspension setup, and the cabin is equipped with heated Recaro seats, air-conditioning, and heated front and rear screens.
This is number 289 of the 300 units produced, of which fewer than a quarter were believed to have been in Soft Top specification.
The cabin is home to two black part-leather Recaro seats, and is fitted with rubber floormats. It rides on a set of black 16-inch ‘Sawtooth’ alloy wheels, fitted with Cooper Discoverer STT tyres. An Allistart uprated intercooler has been installed, as well as an oil catch can with rubber hoses, remote control spotlights, light guards, mud flaps, an alloy fuel filter cap, a NAS-style rear step, KBX vents, and front bumper with integrated LED lights. Other equipment includes side steps and a Clarion stereo.
The service history shows Main Dealer (Stratstone) to 36, 500 miles. Last serviced in February 2024 at 47, 549 miles which included changing the brake fluid, the battery and in May 2024, the clutch master and slave cylinders, adaptor, valve and one of the floor mats.
