We love a Porsche and this one is right up there! This is the first Porsche Cayman we have had so we are quite excited about this one. This example is finished in Basalt black with black leather interior and the correct silver wheels finished off with red brake calipers as it is an S model - a wonderful colour combination for a Porsche! It has been presented very well by the vendor so the whole car looks superb, and it is currently going through UK registration having been resident in the Isle of Man. Originally registered by Porsche Centre West London on 19/ 1/ 2006 to its first owner, at some point it ended up on the Island but has now found its way back to the mainland.
The service history is quite impressive with a service book containing 8 stamps, as well as a collection of invoices to back them up, and the full book pack from Porsche complete with all the manuals and instruction books. The last service was carried out on the Isle of Man in June 2024, which created a report (as they do) with some recommendations of work to carry out. The owner decided to have the work carried out a cost of £3, 509. 77, which was a considerable amount of work and parts for routine maintenance. It is nice that it has been done all at once as, in theory, this Porsche is prepped and ready to go and enjoy with hopefully no problems and all the niggly things done. These included Brembo brakes, belts, water pump, ignition coils, and a whole host of other things itemised on the accompanying invoice.
The specification is also quite impressive with such things as Tiptronic gearbox with buttons on the steering wheel, windscreen ariel, wheel caps with coloured crest, top tint windscreen, navigation, PCM2, leather dashboards and door panels, and leather seats along with all the other goodies that the S model comes with. Put this all together with history and the condition, this really would appear to be a great car and which is ready to go and enjoy. The Cayman is car that is really coming into its own now in the respect of being a very desirable and collectable Porsche, but one you can drive and enjoy every day. Remember, it is a Porsche, and that’s the important thing!
