Description
The car was bought as a kit in 1970 at the Dutch Lotus importer. I acquired the unfinished project in 1985 and in the years to follow I completed the build. The donor car was a Ford Cortina II GT from 1969. In 1991 the first licence plate was issued on my name. I have owned the car ever since. The car is in perfect condition, please refer to the pictures.
Over the years the car received several improvements, additions and updates, a. o.
- weather protection bmo a soft top awas a very rare but original factory hard top
- improved front suspension
- engine tuning bmo twin Weber DCOE40 carbs, Kent Cams shaft 234, electronic ignition and inside baffling of the wet sump
- 5-speed Ford T9 gearbox, the original 4-speed Cortina box is available as well. Both gearboxes are in perfect working condition
- cycle wings awas the original S4 fenders
- sport seats awas original seats
- 2 sets of doors, GRP- and vinyl type
