This Bentley Park Ward Drophead B. 5. GT was ordered on for Mrs. M. C Byrne from Birmingham through P. J Evans.
The Chassis was built on April 1950 and delivered to Park Ward in Willesden London where the drophead body was made and fitted. The car was completed in July 1950.
Painted in Metallic Grey with Grey Leather trim and Black Hood Covering the registration number issued to the car when delivered was KON 1.
On the 10 October 1953 the car was sold to Mrs. Picton of H. C Stephan from Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
Follow that the car has a wealth of history with documented work until the current owner purchased the car from Mr. John Reed from Canterbury in June 2016.
This very delightful 1950 Bentley Park Ward Drophead has a great history file in long term ownership and used for family occasions, weekends away and enjoyment.
Finished in beautiful black paint with Black leather trim and Black hood covering. The Bentley Mk. VI, records show that 57 examples of Park Ward’s lovely drophead coupe, design number 99, were built, with bodies constructed of lightweight and corrosion-resistant aluminum panels. Only 12 of these were factory left-hand-drive and the other 45 in right hand drive format, among them chassis number B. 5. GT.
