GRD S74 Chassis 050, 1995ccm Cosworth BDG engine on steel block, Lucas mechanical fuel injection (flexi drive, 8mm), Hewland FG400 gearbox, 2x FT3 safety fuel cells (out of date), front and rear lights, period correct AP brakes, Bilstein shocks, mechanical Smith Rev counter up to 12. 000RPM, Racetech instruments, original GRD Moto Lita steering wheel, 1 Set original Magnesium wheels for show, two sets of three piece rims (10“ front and 14“ rear width, 13“ diameter) only used one time and bought in the 90’s from Peter Denty.
GRD was formed in 1971 with a large percentage of staff coming from those made redundant from the closure of Lotus cars customer car manufacturing arm. The 75S was the last Sportscar model produced by GRD and later parts oft he company were sold to Jörg Obermoser, who built the TOJ sportscars from 1976-1982.
This Car was sold to Greece to Andreas Christopoulos and raced from Makis Salaris. In 1974 and 1975 Salaris won the Greek National Championship with this car. Came back to Uk in 1988. A FIA HVIF from 1992 and shipping documents will come with the car.
After purchasing the car in the mid 90’s last century, the car was checked from Peter Denty and James Denty did a Testdrive with the car. The last owner did some trackdays with the car in the late 90‘ and since them the car was stored in a heated and dry garage. Engine turned around frequently. Fire extinguisher and seatbelts out of date. Very original car in very good conditions. Lightweight Bodywork without repairs.
