Probably the most beautiful, certainly the best preserved Lagonda Series II on the market.
First delivery in 1982 to a French entrepreneur and billionaire living in Switzerland. He was known for painting all the cars in his collection in the same colour. Deregistered in 1996 and prepared for his car museum.
The car was taken to AML in Newport Pagnell for a total restoration at 40, 590km. All leather parts new with Conolly leather in tan, all carpets new in beige Wilton with tan edging, engineering and electrical completely overhauled, body completely overhauled, alloy wheels fitted in newer specification with white wall tyres, all light bulbs replaced,.... There is a thick official AML folder with photos and description. According to the current owner, a total of around ? 200, 000 was invested.
After the death of the owner, the Lagonda was bought at an estate auction in 1999 by an Italian who left the car in Switzerland and stored it at Roos Engineering.
The current owner purchased the Lagonda in 2000 and has serviced it continuously at Roos Engineering.
In 2012, he received the "1st Prize for the Best Lagonda Survivor".
