Description
I have owned my Jaguar XJS 4. 0 Convertible for 14 years, it's a rare 4. 0 strait 6 cylinder factory 5 speed manual transmission car. I was told by a man at Jaguar that they only manufactured about 10 to 12 manual 4. 0 convertible model's.
Ideal for Silverstone Classic and Goodwood as well as Jaguar club events and many other classic car events around the country.
Oyster Beige with light tan half leather and teddy bear cloth interior (as described when new) with Brown electric hood. It comes with all the original hand book and stamped service book with lots of the service invoices and old Mot's + a Heritage Certificate and a copy of the paperwork to register the Jaguar when new. New Mot will be done upon sale. Just the car for summer motoring or that winter morning drive out with the hood down.
It's in very nice order throughout and has always been garaged during my ownership.
If you know your historic Jaguar racing history, the factory C type Jaguars in the 1950's where registered OKV 1 - OKV 2 and OKV 3. My Jaguar Xjs is registered K1 OKV - I purchased this age related number from Swansea a few years ago and it will stay with the car upon its sale, as I think it looks representative of some of our Jaguar racing history.
Good value for a manual convertible classic Jaguar against the value of an E-type convertible, but clearly not as iconic.
