Description
beautiful "dans san jus", Dyna Z1, the first year of production, it's almost a prototype, featuring the early "flush" door handles.
This Panhard is up and running, rebuilt engine / gearbox, new Michelin "X" tyres and a full stainless steel exhaust system.
The interior was very tired, so a complete interior has been re-made in the period colours, red/ ivory plastic, with the seats re-sprung etc, plus new door cards all round.
Being a Z1, of course the bodywork/ floor etc is all aluminum but the important chassis is in excellent condition, never having been welded.
She still has her original 1953 paint, so you can polish her up as is, or you repaint her.
The seats are in but there is still some finishing to put the rest of the interior back.
She's a superbly rare early example in this time warp condition.
She has been dry-stored all her life and is now located in the dry region of the Corbieres, southern France.
Originally, she came from the Charente region of western France but was imported to Wales by the late Frank Holden, a key figure of the Panhard Club GB.
Price negotiable.
