Description

Very rare USA LHD Triumph Stag converted to the Triumph 2500TC 6 cylinder engine

I purchased the car as a project to assemble and put it back on the road. Selling as have moved onto another project and don’t have the Space for the Stag anymore.
Only 3000 Stags were ever built to USA Spec so very hard to come by. Now powered with a Triumph 2500 engine with twin SU carburettors. The Stag is now more fuel economical but doesn’t lack to much power still able to give you that sports car feel. We have driven it all summer with no issues. The body has had quite a few bits of panel work carried out by a professional panel beater who also matched and resprayed the areas perfectly. Still a few areas that could be tided up but nothing major. Underneath is perfect for age and floors are very sound. Soft top is very faded but has kept us dry when the weather turns on us and the hinges work perfectly for when you need to either take it down or put it back up. All new boot carpet and under bonnet wiring. Reconditioned power steering rack. Engine has excellent compression and the exhaust note is simply lovely. No hardtop.
Note: car is registered as a 1970 but built number states it is a 1973
This is your chance to buy a rare classic that will receive many compliments.
