Description
In 1982, Ford Europe presented what the car of the future would look like for the old continent. A wedge-shaped, futuristic design with bumper-integrated bodywork, aerodynamic hubcaps, and so on. However, it inherited the classic mechanical concept from its predecessor, the Taunus and Cortina, with a longitudinally mounted all-iron engine and rear-wheel drive.
We bring to our classic car catalog and stock a unit from a single owner, the last series manufactured in late 1992 and registered in 1993, in its 5-door GT version, with its double overhead camshaft engine, 115 HP, and two liters of displacement.
It's a completely original unit, very well maintained and cared for. Its owner has been a professional in the spare parts world in a town in Toledo, located in the center of Spain, with an ideal climate for bodywork care. The car is free of any type of corrosion. The paint is well preserved and detailed. The bumpers have small imperfections that can be seen in the photographs.
Its interiors border on perfection. Both the dashboard, instrument panel, upholstery, and seat padding. The photos testify to and describe graphically the condition of the interior, including the roof and door panels.
The engine has barely 110, 000 kilometers and runs perfectly without any defects. It comes with air conditioning, ABS, and front power windows. The chassis, brakes, suspension, and the rest of the mechanics are in perfect condition. A car ready to start up and enjoy its rear-wheel drive.
A very well-maintained unit ready to enjoy.
